JEDI: Fallen Order Cal's Lightsaber

Cal's lightsaber carries with it profound meaning and symbolism. It was originally a full staff belonging to Cal's master Jaro Tapal. During a battle to escape, Jaro gives his life to protect Cal's and in the process, the staff becomes shattered and broken into a single blade. Cal carries this memory with him everywhere he goes and in a sense I like to think of the broken hilt as a symbol of Cal's traumatic past and broken life plans. The symbolism is reinforced when he eventually stops running away from the empire and decides to confront his challenges and fears head on. At this point in the story, he repairs the broken single blade lightsaber and restores it to a full dual bladed staff. This also has the obvious added gameplay benefits of introducing new combat mechanics.
